Anita Hassanandani Flaunts Her Baby Bump; Asks, 'What If I Had Given In To People Asking Me To Become A Mother Because I Was Married?'
Soon to be a mommy and actress Anita Hassanandani has left us impressed by sharing some of her candid moments while enjoying her pregnancy phase. Today taking to her Instagram account, she thanked filmmaker Farah Khan Kunder as she spoke about being a mother in her late 30s and the filmmaker’s heartfelt note being a motivation for her. She also mentioned that every woman should understand to make her own choices, instead, giving in to something due to societal pressure. And by penning her thoughts down she supported an online campaign called #ItsAWomansCall.

Her Instagram post read, “What if I had given in to the people asking me to become a mother just because I was married? Then I would be deceiving myself more than anyone else. It's so important to understand what women want out of their lives and letting them make their choices! @farahkhankunder ‘heartfelt letter is another confirmation that I made the right choice to wait till I was ready. Thank you for making us believe that motherhood and reiterating that #ItsAWomansCall”

Continuing in her post she paid salute to the leading GEC, Sony Television for their brand new show, Story 9 Months Ki where the protagonist expresses to be a mother out of wedlock via IVF. Anita in her post also penned dialogue of the lead that stayed with her, she wrote, “A line that Alia says in the show, Agar bina pyaar ke shaadi ho sakti hai, toh bina pati ke maa kyu nahi? - really stayed with me and made me think.”


On the concluding note, she wrote, “Who are we to judge anyone’s decision... especially a woman’s decision of embracing motherhood, naturally or otherwise! Remember ladies, #ItsAWomansCall!”
